  1. Purposes for which personal data are processed and legal basis

We collect and use personal data exclusively in accordance with German and European data protection law.

You can use our website without providing personal data. If and to the extent that it is possible to enter personal data on our website (e.g. via the contact form), such data are, where feasible, provided on a voluntary basis. This data will not be transferred to third parties unless you explicitly ask us to do so.

For technical reasons, however, your visit to our website will generate data which will automatically be transferred to us by your browser. These data will automatically be retained in server log files. This concerns the following data:

These data cannot be identified as relating to specific persons. These data shall not be combined with other data sources. We reserve the right to subsequently check these data if we become aware of concrete indications of unlawful use.

Data transmission via the Internet (e.g. e-mail communication) can potentially be prone to security breaches. Unfortunately, it is not possible to provide absolute protection of the data against third-party access.

In the event that you voluntarily provide us with additional personal data, e.g. by using a web form, we will process these data exclusively for the intended purpose.

The legal basis for processing the data is always your consent, the completion of an order or of a legal transaction, a legal obligation, or legitimate interest.

  1. Legitimate interests of the controller or a third party

Where legitimate interests are the legal basis for data processing, those legitimate interests are ensuring the operation and security of the website and its technical improvement. In the event of technical problems or attacks, we shall use the data exclusively in order to analyse, investigate and prevent any further problems or attacks.

  1. Intention to transfer personal data to a third country or an international organisation

Data shall only be transferred to a third country if you have given us your explicit consent or if such a transfer is required for the completion of an order or another legal transaction or if we have a statutory obligation to undertake said transfer.

The same applies to the transfer of data to any international organisation.

  1. Duration of retention of personal data

All personal data shall be deleted as soon as the purpose ceases to exist, unless statutory retention obligations or other legitimate interests prevail.

  1. Your rights

Pursuant to the GDPR, you have the right to request access to personal data relating to you that are stored by us. You may also have the right to request rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, a right to object and a right to data portability.

You may exercise these rights any time using the contact details above.

  1. Withdrawal of consent

If you consent to our processing your personal data, you can withdraw such consent at any time with effect for the future. This shall not affect the lawfulness of processing until such time as consent is withdrawn.

  1. The right to lodge a complaint

In the event that you consider that the processing of the personal data relating to you infringes the provisions of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

  1. Profiling

We do not practise profiling.
